Adolea began with a love, a passion with olive oil.
Adolea is a collaboration of small scale, artisanal producers from Greece. This site is a huge activity to connect small agricultural-producers with the customer and bring high-quality, speciality food to a wider audience. Each producer keeps responsibility for the care of their grove.
This in turn helps to keep traditional farming practices alive and protects the countryside from intensive and destructive modern farming methods.
When someone adopts an olive tree gives the farmer/ producer the opporunity to give a special focus at the adaptive tree. An adoptee is naming/ tagging the olive tree and receives all the produced olive oil of the respective tree (for every adoption package has a proportional quantity) . This win - win approach for the producer and the adoptee is the best practice to receive your olive oil directly from "your tree" without any filtering or preservatives.
For every adoption, the adoptee receives:
- Tree rewards according to the adoption
- 1 certification from the farmer and Adolea
- 1 chemical analysis of the extra virgin olive oil
- 1 fotograph of your adoptive olive tree with your Tag/Name
